We adjusted the start timer per tech support. We called tech support back. We did a full install reset on the thermostat. Adjusted all zones to max. Tested operation. The system is working properly at this time. If this issues happens again we will need tech support to see what the next step is.

The customer stated it doesn’t come on some nights usually Saturday, Sunday or Monday nights. The issue started about 2 weeks after our last PM. No faults showing on the thermostat. He resets the power and the system runs after that until the next night. Last faults were indoor coil freeze protection and humidity faults 10/11/23-10/15/23. I added pictures of all of the software updates. The thermostat is not connected to WiFi. I tested all zones individually and all open and close as they should. The ac wouldn’t run until all three zones were set below the room temperature. We will call tech support when the office opens to check into this issue. Call the Mr. Tucker first.

Upon arrival spoke with customer and we spoke about what’s been going on and what has been done to try and correct issue. Customer explained they had stat set to 65° at night, and I explained I do no recommend this because it will cause the coil to freeze up and cause air flow issues. Customer also explained they had just cleaned filter because it was dirty. I explained the stat was showing a high static issue but not sense the filter change. I checked filter and showed customer that with the dogs and cat hair this will cause the filter to get dirty quick and if there not checking the filter every month, and if need be sooner then that it can cause static issues with the systems. Turned system on and went over static, coil, blower, wiring, duct work, zone dampers, and wires all for the indoor system and everything checked out within specs. Went outside, made sure outdoor unit was within manufacturing specifications. Explained to customer to make sure the filter stays clean and not to

Upon arrival turned system on. Indoor unit came on. All zones where operating properly. Went outside, outdoor unit came on and stayed running for 45 mins. Slowly dropped zones off 1 by 1 and turned them back on and zones are all showing ok. Let system run awhile and pressures, and all electrical is working ok at this time. Without it failing in front of me I can not be sure of why the system is shutting down. I can recommend with age the stat and dampers maybe failing. Spoke with customer about it and spoke with Ryan about it and he agreed. If it fails again I am going to recommend looking at a new stat and dampers.

Upon arrival went over everything with the customer. Took the camera and went threw all the duct work. Only issues duct wise I found was the wet flex above unit that is already getting replaced and the 12inch duct disconnected from the duct board return. Indoor unit is clear, blower is dirty, no leaks on coil. Indoor unit is working good. Customer wanted a price on fixing duct board return so I drew it up, will need to get wi5h shane or richard to price up duct repairs.
